DETAILS ON THE VARIOUS AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER ROLES:

1 - Bib handlers
Physical level: very easy

What does it involve? Handing out the race bib (and a gift) to each runner before the start. This is your first interaction with the participants and their first impression of the race, so it’s doubly important! It’s an enjoyable and super-friendly role that kicks off the week with a smile.

2 - The Refreshment Station Pros ️
Physical demands: able to stand for a while

What does it involve? Preparing, setting up, and handing out drinks and snacks to trail runners. Simple things, but so important for recharging their batteries! It’s a key and welcoming role, either at the heart of the race or at the finish line.

3 - Course Marshals ️
Physical fitness level: all levels

What does it involve? Guiding participants along the course and ensuring their safety by managing traffic, especially at road intersections. An accessible and incredibly important role. You’ll see all the runners pass by up close: a total immersion!

4 - Course Markers
Fitness level: good to very good

What does it involve? Setting up the flags the day before or two days before the race, checking the course markings in the morning, and taking them down after the race. A task that requires patience, a keen eye, and a minimum level of physical fitness. But what a joy to be able to follow the race route!
