Day hike – Vallon de la Lavey – Ecrins National Park

Departing from the Vénéon valley, this hike is a journey into the heart of the Ecrins National Park! It takes us up to the high mountain pastures of the Lavey valley and its magnificent little refuge, where we're surrounded by numerous peaks topping 3500 metres. Wild flora and fauna are among the National Park's greatest treasures.

Difficulty: 11.5km and 590m D+.

Level 2/4

Bring: water bottle (1.5L/person). Nibbles to avoid hypoglycemia, sun cream, sunglasses, rain jacket and picnic lunch. Coffee available at the Lavey refuge (bring some change).
