GEOLOGICAL HIKING – Bourg-d’Oisans: to the origins of the landscape

This guided landscape tour, organized by the Oisans Geosciences Center, will help you understand the history of the valley and Lake Saint-Laurent, the development of Bourg d’Oisans, and the connections between human settlement and natural hazards.
An immersive experience to learn how to interpret Alpine landscapes and understand their past—and present—evolution.

Family-friendly hike accessible to all (ages 11 and up)—8 km loop—approximately 200 m elevation gain. Approximately 2 hours

What to bring: At least 1 liter of water per person, sunglasses, a sun hat, and a windbreaker. Plus, bring your own picnic lunch.
