Philoastro hike on the theme of infinity

Experience an original hike on the Plateau d'Emparis on the theme of infinity: set off from Besse-en-Oisans, a typical mountain village with stone houses, and head for the largest alpine pasture in France, between high-altitude meadows and spectacular panoramas.

Situated at an altitude of over 2,000 metres, the Plateau d'Emparis offers vast high-altitude meadows, lakes and spectacular panoramic views of the Meije and the great peaks of the Oisans, in an unspoilt natural environment conducive to contemplation.

The climb will take place in the afternoon, as hikers approach the starting point by car.
Throughout the hike, mountain guide Romann Cayol will guide you and share his knowledge of the area (geology, botany, local history...). In the evening, he'll prepare a convivial meal for you to enjoy on the plateau.

During the walk, you'll enjoy philosophical pauses with writer Simon Parcot, exploring the theme of infinity.

At nightfall, astronomer Stefen Rater will invite you to observe the starry skies, before spending the night in a bivouac beneath the summits, totally immersed in nature and the stars.

Organized by Numan Aventure and supported by the municipality of Mizoën, this unique experience offers a memorable moment in the heart of an exceptional environment, between mountain, sky and reflection.
Bivouac equipment is not provided.
