Pierre Gioria offers an introductory course to wood sculpting by learning about bas-relief. You will learn how to work and respect the constraints of hard material to produce a specific figure… your first work of art in wood.
À propos : Wood sculpting for beginners
Pierre Gioria is a sculptor based in Rioupéroux. Inspired by surrealism, mythology and nature, his designs have acid, voluptuous shapes. Each work of art is made from natural materials, including wood, stone, clay and plaster.
He organizes this event as part of the “Oisans Route des savoir-faire”. This "Route" brings together all the artisans, artists, producers and cultural sites of Oisans that are willing to open the doors of their workshop, farm or museum to share knowledge with the general public. The “Oisans Route des savoir-faire” opens the door to Oisans mountain culture, the richness of its heritage and the many facets of local expertise. Following the winding roads, you will be able to enjoy varied scenery and meet vibrant local characters. Above all, you are sure to appreciate the quality of their work and a taste of their produce!
Duration: 1 hour for children's workshops and 2-3 hours for adults' workshops.
Age minimum : 6 ans
Tips
Possibility of demosntration outside the workshop for groups, half a day to a day. Between 75 € and 100 €.
