À propos : Volunteering: Join the adventure of the Trail des 6 Vallées de l’Oisans

Come as you are! Whether you’re athletic or not, whether you run trail races or not, whether you’re available all week or just for two hours… what matters is your enthusiasm for taking part in this wonderful group adventure!

The volunteer shifts run from Friday, August 14, to Sunday, August 23, 2026.

In Auris-en-Oisans, we specifically need:
August 16:
- Refreshment station at the resort from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. or from 1:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Course marshals in the hamlet of Puy-le-Bas from 11:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. or in the hamlet of Les Cours from 9:35 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

August 17:
- Course marshals in the hamlet of Rosai from 8:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
- Refreshment station in the Sarenne Gorges from 8:15 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.

More information is available at the tourist office or by email directly from the association!

Here are the details of the volunteer roles below. If you’re interested in other roles during your stay, contact us by email or at the tourist office!

Possible roles:

1 - Race Number Handlers
Physical level: very easy

Description: Before the start, you’ll hand out race numbers (and a gift) to each runner. This moment is their first impression of the race—it kicks off the week! So it’s doubly important—and above all, it’s an enjoyable and fairly social role.

2 - Aid Station Pros ️
Physical demands: just need to be able to stand for a bit

Description: This is a crucial moment for the runners, and you’ll play an active part in it! Prepare and serve drinks and food. Simple tasks, but so important for the race—all in a friendly atmosphere, whether at the aid stations along the course or at the finish line!

3 - Course Marshals ️
Physical fitness level: all levels

Description: To ensure the race runs smoothly, we need course marshals: to point runners in the right direction and manage traffic when the course crosses a road. An accessible yet incredibly important role. You’ll see all the runners pass by—a great view of the race!

4 - Course Markers
Physical fitness level: good to very good

Description: Whether it’s setting up the flags the day before or two days before, checking the course markings in the morning, or taking them down after the race, this role requires patience, a keen eye, and a minimum level of physical fitness. But what a joy it is to be able to follow the race route!

Age minimum : 12 ans

Accueil : Minors remain the responsibility of their parents and must provide proof of parental consent. Road marshals must have a driver's license.
