This workshop for your children will be an enriching discovery for them: with the observation of the flowers, describe them, draw them, observe the insects which turn around and learn more about botany and environmental sciences.

About : child naturalist drawing workshop

In small groups of 5, your children will leave with an art-science facilitator to choose a place in the garden and stop where the flowers have called out to them.

Each one takes his or her pencil in hand, his or her drawing book, and stroke by stroke, will learn more about plants, botany and environmental sciences, while doing a usual manual activity...

During this time, you parents can also discover the garden and pick up your children before the guided tour at 4pm.

Alissa Tizot-O'Caroll is a biology graduate with a major in life sciences. She is also a BAFA animator. She elaborates and supervises nature animations for children and teenagers. She is involved in the LPO (Ligue de protection des oiseaux), where she contributes to the Garden Bird Observatory, a scientific program in partnership with the Grenoble Natural History Museum. She is a member of the botanical association Gentiana and makes many outings with them. She is passionate about high altitude succulents and collects them in her family garden. She loves photography and nature drawing and is happy to pass on her artistic techniques to the little budding artists who will participate in the workshop. She is also happy to pass on scientific knowledge about plants and biodiversity in general. Alissa is bilingual (French, English) and is part of the trainees in animation and scientific popularization of the Lautaret garden this summer. You can also meet her during the guided tours.
