Downhill mountain biking in Auris-en-Oisans
Also known as DH (for ‘downhill’), downhill mountain biking is a discipline of mountain biking that involves hurtling down trails of varying steepness, depending on your level, on a bike specially designed for the purpose.
The Auris-en-Oisans bike park has 3 downhill trails with a total vertical drop of 265m:
- The green trail: the Chuck N’Aurisk – 1.6 km (approx. 10 mins)
This wide, gentle trail is ideal for beginners or families wanting to try out downhill mountain biking or scootering. - The blue trail: the Factauris – 1.6 km (approx. 10 mins)
With a little more relief than the green trail, this one offers intermediate riders a passage through the forest with the option of using a wooden platform for more thrills! - The red run: the Redios – 1.3 km (approx. 5 min)
This is a more technical run with a springboard, so it’s aimed at experienced riders!

Getting to the start of the pistes couldn’t be easier:
Board the Sûres cable car with your bike. Five minutes later: a 360-degree panorama of the Grandes Rousses and Écrins peaks awaits you, marking the start of the pistes!
