À propos : Heritage orientation course: the hamlets of Auris
Thanks to this route, discover a part of the Aurienchon heritage in a fun and sporting way !
You can start from the hamlet of Les Cours, by taking the path of La Molette, then you go down to the church and the school, then you start to take the Calvaire, to branch off and go towards the hamlet of Les Certs.
From the hamlet of Les Certs, you will walk through the place called "Socougne", a superb viewpoint above the Romanche valley, before reaching the hamlet of La Balme. After a stop at the oratory of St Christophe, La Cheminée, you will continue in the direction of the hamlet of La Ville and discover the 2 hamlets of Les Châtains, with their magnificent chapel on the mountainside, before passing in front of the oratory of St Michel and going up to Les Cours par Côte.
A superb walk, between villages and pastures, with a breathtaking view all along !

Access by car from Le Freney d'Oisans, take the direction of Auris station by the D211A. Just before the station, turn right towards Les Cours on the Rue Dessus l'Eglise. Start from the car park at the entrance to the hamlet of Les Cours.
