Take this trail to discover part of Aurienchon’s heritage in a fun and active way!
You can start from the hamlet of Les Cours, taking the Chemin de la Molette, then head down to the church and school, before taking the Calvaire trail, where you’ll turn off toward the hamlet of Les Certs.
From the hamlet of Les Certs, you’ll walk through the area known as “Socougne,” a stunning promontory overlooking the Romanche Valley, before reaching the hamlet of La Balme. After a stop at the St. Christophe Oratory, La Cheminée, you’ll continue toward the hamlet of La Ville and discover the two hamlets of Les Châtains, with their magnificent chapel on the mountainside, before passing by the St. Michel Oratory as you head up to Les Cours par Côte.
A superb walk, winding through villages and pastures, with breathtaking views all along the way!

The periods during which the trails are accessible vary from year to year depending on snow cover and weather conditions. In addition, trail conditions can change rapidly after a weather event and are not checked daily. If you encounter a damaged or dangerous section, turn back and report it to the tourist office.

Access by car from Le Freney d'Oisans, take the direction of Auris station by the D211A. Just before the station, turn right towards Les Cours on the Rue Dessus l'Eglise. Start from the car park at the entrance to the hamlet of Les Cours.
