Important! The route indicated on GPS devices is not recommended.
From Grenoble and Le Bourg d’Oisans, the route recommended by most GPS is on an extremely narrow and vertiginous road. We strongly advise you go through Le Freney d’Oisans. Everything is explained on the map below.
From Grenoble: follow signs for “Les stations de l’Oisans”. Once in Bourg d’Oisans, follow the signs for Les Deux Alpes and then Le Freney d’Oisans. Turn left up to Auris.
From Briançon: follow signs for Grenoble, then to Le Freney d’Oisans. Turn left up to Auris.
By bus
Transaltitude
In winter, transaltitudes buses go from Grenoble station to the resort. Don’t forget to book your ticket ahead.
Transisère
You can also take the Transisère bus to Bourg d’Oisans or Le Freney d’Oisans, followed by a taxi (book ahead).
You can download the timetable of the line 3000 (Grenoble – Bourg d’Oisans). The line 3030 (Grenoble – Bourg d’Oisans – Les 2 Alpes) allows you to go from Grenoble or Bourg d’Oisans to Le Freney d’Oisans.
As for the line 3020 (Grenoble – Bourg d’Oisans – Alpe d’Huez), it allows to reach Bourg d’Oisans.
